Web Site Shipping Policy

• We ship all individual orders to homes and businesses with USPS unless other arrangements are made.
• All orders are processed and shipped within 7 days and are charged a flat rate of $6.00 USD.  Orders over $100.00 ship free.
• Once an order has been placed you will be notified by e-mail as it is processed.  Please allow 7 to 14 days to receive your order (depending on where you live in the US).  Allow extra time for Hawaii and Alaska.
• Foreign Orders (Outside the U.S.)  All foreign orders to individuals will be sent USPS International via small flat-rate box at a shipping charge of $15.00 USD.  If shipping outside the U.S. please select the Foreign Shipping option when processing your order.  For foreign company orders outside the US please fax purchase order on company letterhead with contact info.  We will contact you for bulk order pricing and shipping charges.

Shipping Rates (estimated costs may vary)

• For large or commercial orders Independent Tools prefers to use United Parcel Service (UPS) and shipping rates are automatically calculated using our 80525 zip code from our northern Colorado shipping facility.

Return Policy

• If for any reason you need to return merchandise for a refund, it must be returned in new condition within 30 days with a copy of the original receipt.
• All items returned will be subject to a 15% restocking fee and return shipping charges are not refundable.

Limited Lifetime Guarantee Warranty

• All products sold by Independent Tools are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship and carry a limited lifetime guarantee warranty to the original owner.  The Tools on the PocketDresser are specifically designed to facilitate buttoning and zipping operations.  The Maddox knife is specifically designed for personal food preparation.  Finnegan’s Fly Tool is designed for angling purposes only.  Any other usage is considered abuse and voids warranty.  Independent Tools warranty does not cover accidental loss, loss caused by theft, abuse, neglect, disassembly or accidental injury.

  Please send a copy of your original receipt showing the date of purchase along with the reason the item is being returned and a daytime telephone number.  We will examine and consider each warranty claim and repair or replace at our own discretion.  You will be notified once we have made a determination on your claim.

Implied Warranty

• Independent Tools will not be responsible for careless handling and shall in no event be liable for any incidental or consequential damages with respect to economic loss, injury, or damage to property.  Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

• These products are neither warranted nor implied to be suitable for any particular purpose or disability. Consult your therapist or health care provider for applicability to your need.
